Ranay Rabha, Kallyan Ch. Rabaha, Rathin Rabha are the group of persons who have successfully running their business after they have received training form the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship. In their early age they used to help in their family farming and other activities. They are familiar with the weaving as their mothers were used to made different apparels through weaving for their household use. Though weaving is an essential part of their daily life but they never thought of taking it as a primary source of earning. With the passes of time it became difficult to crumble the daily increasing needs. Therefore they are searching of alternative option for their living. When they contracted with the IIE and got a number of training on weaving and came to know about the market demand of the products.
After getting trained in weaving skill, they formed a group and started their group business by making different products and supply it to the market. They express their view that ‘now we can say that we are living the life which we once used to dream of’. They earned minimum of Rs.15000 per month by making of different weaving products and now they are capable of taking big projects. Now they are participating in different exhibitions through which they got the taste of direct market.
