NEHHDC is currently seeking students with design and textile background for the ongoing project, "Market Development by Way of Digitalisation, Authentication and Implementing of Traceability in Handloom Sector of North Eastern States", in the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura. This project aims to promote and develop the traditional handloom and handicrafts sector of the Northeastern region of India through digitization.

To be eligible, candidates should fulfill the following criteria:

• Spoken Hindi is mandatory
• Knowledge of local language is preferred
• Should be ready for door-to-door interview
• Should have a basic idea on loom, designs and local motifs
• Must have an understanding about the market of that area
• Should know the basic process of Baseline Survey
• Should know how to work on Google forms
• Should have a smart phone with good network connection
• Should be ready to work on target based activities

 

Candidates will get a chance to work with the Government and gain hands-on experience of working on ground at the grasroot level.
