Celebrating National Handicrafts Week 2025

NEHHDC celebrated National Handicrafts Week 2025 at the campus with a programme attended by in-house artisans, weavers and officials.

NEHHDC officials addressed the gathering, reflecting on the importance of the handicraft sector and the central role that artisans play in sustaining and advancing traditional craft practices across the region.

A significant part of the programme was a live handicrafts showcase, during which master artisans demonstrated various craft techniques.

The event offered a platform for knowledge sharing, skill exposure and recognition of the craftsmanship that contributes to NEHHDC’s ongoing activities.
